Mayne's window boxes come with built-in water reservoirs. For window boxes with this feature, the water reservoir can be filled by just watering your plants directly. You can also directly access the water reservoir in our double wall planters through the pre-drilled fill port hole. These window boxes come with a rubber plug (fill port plug) to cover this hole. The overflow drainage hole allows excess water to seep out to protects roots from oversaturation and rot.
