Monterey Sluggo Plus is a pellet bait made from .97% iron phosphate and .07% spinosad. It is used for the control of not only snails and slugs but also earwigs, cutworms, sowbugs (roly poly) and pill bugs. Sluggo Plus can be used on ornamentals, vegetables, fruit trees, berries, truf and in non-commercial greenhouses. OMRI Listed for Organic Gardeneing. Apply Sluggo Plus at ? to 1lb per 1000 square feet. At the lower rate, 1lb will cover 2000 square feet. Use the higher rate if infestation is severe. Scatter the bait on the ground near and around the plants to be protected. If the ground is extremely dry, wet the soil lightly before applying the bait. Evening is the best time to apply because the snails and slugs usually feed at night.
